Blink cooldown reduced by 0.5 seconds (now 1.5s). – Popper now less effective at tracking moving targets – Lancer morphed omegaSpin (turn in place) speed reduced. – Warrior unmorphed turning performance increased Coneangle increased so it deflects projectiles and objects at a wider angle around the craft. – Sonic wave push effectiveness vs units brought up to stock levels.

– Archers move and undeploy faster, but now take a long time to deploy. – Units now path better near Kilns, Forges and Dowers Maneuverability increased slightly (Plus variant) – Splinter per-hit damage reduced, chance to hit increased (less or equal damage at close range, more damage at longer ranges) – Phantom VIR ammo cost decreased by 20% (New: 16, Previous/Stock: 20) – Redfield Ammo Cost increased by 16% (New: 14, Previous: 12, Stock: 20) – All race smart scouts can now paint targets. – Extra races now properly identified in multiplayer shell, now use team order voices. – Sniper rifles no longer accidentally activate when switching weapons when craft is destroyed – Jetpacks no longer accidentally trigger when using special while craft is destroyed – All races now use ‘instant’ jetpacks which have a nearly-instantaneous deploy time – Service trucks more damaged by explosion kicks – All race constructors are now more pushable.

– Several ‘under the hood’ improvements that allow modders to create simple and flexible addons, introduce new races, easily develop AIPs that work against a variety of races and more! AI teams will semi-randomize ship loadouts based on their tech levels. AI units conduct patrols and may retreat for service when damaged VSR FFA is also highly configurable allowing single or multiple teams to face off against multiple player or CPU opponents. – All VSR maps support play vs CPU teams in addition to Strat. – Keep Ship on Rejoin feature allows players who join a game that they previously exited (or a previous player exited) to rejoin with the same ship, weapons, health, ammo and pilot that they had when they left the game. – All 1.3 Strategy Map Pack maps integrated into VSR, as well as VSR versions of stock ST Maps created. This contains a summary of most ways that VSR differs from stock 1.3.
